There's something special about your first...

On one of the hottest evenings of the year, Hun Sauce Presents took over All My Friends in Hackney Wick for a night of music, community and independent creativity. With temperatures reaching 31°C, records spinning upstairs, merch downstairs and a room full of familiar and new faces, it couldn't have been a better way to kick things off.

The Line-up

We were lucky enough to welcome an incredible lineup of selectors who each brought something completely different throughout the evening.

Every set was packed with energy and perfectly suited to the room. From the warm-up right through to the final records, they absolutely smashed it.

A huge thank you to everyone at All My Friends for believing in the idea from day one.

With the record shop downstairs and DJs upstairs, the space couldn't have suited Hun Sauce better.

One of my favourite moments was looking around the room and spotting so many of you wearing Hun Sauce.

Seeing tees I'd illustrated dotted around the crowd genuinely meant the world.

It felt like a room full of the community that's slowly been growing around the brand, and that's something I'll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who came down.

To everyone who danced.

Bought a tee.

Supported the DJs.

Browsed the record store.

Grabbed a drink.

Shared a story.

Or simply came to say hello.

Events like this only happen because people choose to support independent music, independent venues and independent artists.

If the first Hun Sauce Presents taught me anything, it's that there's an appetite for nights built around community, music and creativity.
